Economic: First encounter of community tourism began
Trying to strengthen and to transform the tourism, it began in facilities of the Museum of Ethnography and Folklore the First National Encounter of Emprendimientos and Social Organizations linked to the Community Tourism that takes the Viceministerio of the sector ahead.
That encounter will allow a revision and analysis from the proposal and its alteration to the Law 2.074, of promotion and development of the tourist activity of Bolivia, this action will look to find a consent proposal based on four pillars Community Tourism, Sustainable Tourist Administration, Public Administration, and Market & Tourist Promotion.
“The change that is looked for is the one of creating an impact in the decrease of poverty taking the formulation of a national platform of community tourism ahead to develop actions in the rescue of the cultural identity and the environmental conservation in attention to a planning and appropriate territorial administration” I assure Ricardo Cox Vice minister of Tourism.
The year 2002, it was generated 164 million American dollars and it contributed 3.6% to the Internal Product Bruto (GDP).
The tourism in Bolivia provides 60 thousand people a direct entrance form or insinuation for this activity, toward the year 2020 the tourism will be constituted in the main economic activity of the country.
That encounter will conclude today Friday November 24 with the conformation of a combined calendar and the signature of some agreements with the impeller committee of this activity, they will be able to participate of this encounter men, women representatives of the social organizations linked the tourism and representatives of community enterprises.
