HIKE THE ROUTE OF “CHE” GUEVARA (6 days)

Ernesto “Che” Guevara wanted to start a revolution in many countries in South America just like he did with Fidel in Cuba in 1959. The key, just like they did in Cuba, was to push country  people in Bolivia to a revolt against first world countries. He failed on it because he did not have the backing of the Bolivian communist party.

In 1967 he and his companions were killed in Yuro and La Higuera by the Bolivian army; one of them was “Tania la guerrillera” (Laura Bauer); some others like the French Regis Debray were judged and punished with 30 years in jail.

The ideas of “el Che” became the ideas of many people in later generations in South America. In Bolivia “el Che” still lives as a symbol of liberty for the students in many universities.

We invite you to come to remember this unforgettable event of the Bolivian history in the  temperate and subtropical ravines of Bolivia where it happened.
